FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How to become a Security Officer?
Becoming a Security Officer involves multiple steps to ensure readiness. It starts with your application, which is reviewed by our Training and Recruitment Officers. If your application meets our standards, a criminal record check from the LSPD is requested. A clean record allows you to proceed to a recruitment interview, where you should be prepared to discuss your background.
If you pass the interview, you become a Trainee Security Officer. During this period, a senior officer mentors you and provides a handbook. Your mentors assess your knowledge until they're confident you can patrol independently. At that point, you take an examination to become a full-time Security Officer.
What are the main differences between a Security Guard and Officer?
Security Officers serve in a full-time role while Security Guards are employed part-time. Security Officers are the backbone of our company, playing a vital role in patrols, alarm responses, and regular property checks. This position is at the core of our organization. They can take part in internal departments and divisions as well.
Security Guards are not permitted to respond to property alarms or conduct patrols on our client properties. They can participate in daily security assignments such as bouncer jobs, Cash-in-Transit operations, and executive transportation. The Security Guard position is a perfect match for Law Enforcement Officers who are looking for a part-time gig! Security Guards cannot partake in multiple divisions within the company.
Technician & Tow Truck Operators
Technicians & Tow Truck Operators are another full-time role within our organization. They specialize in installing various security equipment like alarms, CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and proximity sensors for our contracted properties. As a towing operator, they're permitted to respond to LSSD contractor tow requests, as well as respond to our client tow or roadside assistance calls.
Can I apply for multiple positions at once?
The response is negative. However, ProTech Security provides its employees with limitless internal opportunities. This implies that once your initial employment application is approved and you are hired, you can apply for positions in other departments and divisions within the company.

Tattoo policy
Our tattoo policy is fairly lenient. Tattoos are not an issue as long as they do not convey offensive or racist meanings and are not prominently displayed on your face or other highly visible areas. However, if you have full-arm sleeve tattoos, we recommend wearing a long-sleeved uniform for a more professional appearance.

((Admin Record and Paycheck Waiver))
Applicants with a substantial history of admin-related issues will not be considered. While we acknowledge that people can change, applicants need to maintain a clean record for at least two (2) weeks, free from punishments like bans, admin jails, or warnings. However, meeting this requirement does not guarantee acceptance, as the decision also takes into account the nature and frequency of prior punishments.
ProTech Security Solutions is a self-funded organization, and our payment system is not script-based. Instead, your character's paycheck is determined by their in-game activity. While we value high activity, it's important to note that there may be a paycheck limitation at the end. Specific details will be discussed in person.
